Stephanie Riley Hahn, PT
Stephanie Hahn is a licensed Physical Therapist concentrating on teaching medically-based Pilates conditioning. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physical Therapy.Following graduation, Ms. Hahn practiced in both acute care and outpatient rehabilitation facilities where she treated a diverse range of neurological and orthopedic injuries. After completing an advanced residency in orthopedics, Ms. Hahn received her Board Certification as a Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1996. She is also certified as a Pilates instructor by the PhysicalMind Institute.Ms. Hahn founded Austin, Texas’ first women’s physical therapy health practice, focusing on evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor disorders such as incontinence, pelvic pain/vulvodynia and pelvic muscular and joint imbalances.Her focus on women's health was augmented by further certification to treat pre-natal and post-partum women to assist them with pregnancy-related musculoskeletal disorders. Ms. Hahn currently teaches Pilates at her studio, Mind+Body Pilates.
Ms. Hahn’s areas of special interest include helping clients improve their core stability by strengthening the abdominal, spinal and pelvic floor muscles which leads to improved function and self-confidence. She uses a unique combination of physical therapy and Pilates to assist her clients.
Married in 1993 and the mother of three active sons, she and her family enjoy traveling, camping and fishing. Stephanie has enjoyed running since age 10 and frequently competes in races.
